Alumni to Alumni Interaction

Alumni events occur throughout the year. Multicultural alumni are encouraged to attend and stay involved.

Alumni to Student Interaction

  • Legacy Through Leadership
This initiative was created to engage multicultural alumni with current multicultural students. The program focuses on mentoring and career development strategies. Alumni are invited to return to campus to speak on panels and conduct workshops with students.
  • Virginia Tech Day
Virginia Tech Days is a recruitment event for underrepresented high school students who have been offered admission to Virginia Tech. The purpose is to increase the number of accepted offers. The yield event is designed to showcase our university and highlight the benefits of obtaining an education here and provide students and parents a historical perspective on student life at Virginia Tech. Representatives provide guidance on the multicultural experience at Virginia Tech.

Alumni Engagement in Local and Regional Areas

  • Diversity Chair
