Aja Gore

Aja Gore was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She has her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University. She has completed her first masters in Higher Education Leadership at Oakland University and is currently working on her second masters in Counseling. She has a background in higher education, K-12 school districts, and pre-college programs and fraternity and sorority life. She focuses on her ability to enhance student success by providing a safe space for exposure, growth, and new opportunities, which allows her to help build the next generation. Sje provides educational services such as tutoring, high school readiness and college readiness. 

In her free time, Aja spends her time with her dog, Athena and dancing. She loves to eat and try new food places. Her favorite foods are Puerto Rican, Mexican and Korean. Her favorite season is Fall and she typically hosts or participates in a Friendsgiving every year. She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She has served as an advisor for undergraduate sorority chapters and student organizations. She is really excited to explore her new home in Virginia.
