Below are instructions on how to:

Getting Started on the App

  1. Download the app. On the device you're bringing to the event, access the App Store or Google Play Store and search for the "Cvent Events" app. Once you've found the app, download it.


  2. Search for the event. Return to your device's home screen and open the app. Enter teh event name or event ID in the search bar.
    1. Search for "FWCA"
  3. Download your event. Tap the icon to download the event.
    1. If prompted, enter the event ID and tap Download event. Event ID: krKNa FWCA2023
  4. Enter your info. If you aren't automatically prompted to log in, tap the profile icon at the bottom of the screen to access the Profile tab, then tap Log in.
    1. Enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email. Then tap the arrow.
  5. Verify your account. You'll either receive an email and text message containing a verification code or just an email. Read it, then return to the app, enter the code, and tap the arrow.
    1. After entering the verification code, you'll be logged in and taken to the event's Home page, or back to the Profile tab.

NOTE: Verification codes can only be used once and expire after 24 hours. If you're logging in on multiple devices, you'll receive a new verification code for each.

Getting Started on the Website

  1. Access the login page. Look for the Attendee Website link on your event's website, in your registration confirmation email, or in other communications from the event planner. Once you've found it, click the link to access the login page for the virtual site.

  2. Enter your info. You'll be prompted to enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email address. Then click Next.
  3. Verify your account. You'll either receive an email and text message containing a verification code, or just an email. Read it, then return to your browser, enter the code, and click Log in.
    1. You'll be logged in and taken to the 2023 Faculty Women of Color in the Academy (FWCA) Conference home page.
